  1. What did you use for attaching it to the u-bolt and angle piece, and for the shortening strip? Looks like galvanized pipe strapping. I’d like to build one. Thanks and 73!

  2. I am curious what you mean by “RVS” for the “RVS metal shorting strap” and the “RVS tube for the isolator”. I assume these aren’t the same material, correct? I don’t know what the acronym stands for.

    I was able to find copper strap with the holes throughout, at my local hardware store.

    I’m almost done with this build and can’t wait to give this antenna a try! I appreciate the detailed plans presented on this site.
