Honeymoon to Kemer, Turkey

On 31 October 2003 we got married. The day after we went to the city of Kemer (on the south coast of Turkey) to stay there for a week. We really needed that holiday. The marriage was great, but took lot of our energy, especially the preparation which took several months.

We had a very relaxing week. Here is the program:

• Day 1: fly to Antalya and travel to our hotel in Kemer.
• Day 2: nothing!
• Day 3: Turkish bath
• Day 4: diving
• Day 5: diving
• Day 6: walking in the surrounding hills
• Day 7: hired a jeep to explore the mountains
• Day 8: back home

We went diving for 2 days. The boat was very nice, made of wood, and lots of space for the few people that are diving in this area on this time of year.

Most dive spots were along the coast, except for the wreck dive on the "Paris".

Ayhan, our dive guide, invited us for dinner. We had a memorable drive into the mountains. We went eating in a small restaurant in the upper hills, nearby a small cave.

We hired an old jeep and drived into the mountains.

South of the mountain area, near Mira, some interesting graves were found into the mountains.

Near the caves is also an ancient theater.

We saw this turtle also nearby the graves and the theater.
